Depression

Every person reaches the stage of being lonely or being worthless, and I've always been on that stage and still striving to get out of it. It's pretty normal if you feel a little sad or even question yourself about your existence, but how would you know if you are experiencing "Depression". Now this blog entry may be a bit sensitive but let's not ignore the fact that every teen, or even adults experience this thing and without proper attention it may lead to something crucial. Every person has a weak spot, and for my case my weak spot is very obvious. I get sad over little things, and that's normal. So here's some symptoms you may want to read so that you'll know if you are in the state of "Depression":

1. Depressed Mood
A person may report feeling "sad" or "empty" or may cry frequently. Children and adolescents may exhibit irritability.
2. Decreased Interest or Pleasure
A person may show markedly diminished interest or pleasure in all, or almost all, daily activities.
3. Weight Changes
Significant changes in weight when not attempting to gain or lose (a gain or loss of 5% or more in a month) may be indicative of depression. In children, this may also present as a failure to make expected weight gains.
4. Sleep Disturbances
Insomnia or sleeping too much may be a symptom of depression.
5. Psychomotor Agitation or Retardation
The person may be observed to be either agitated and restless or physically slowed down in their movements.
6. Fatigue
Deep fatigue or a loss of energy is a symptom of depression.
7. Feelings of Worthlessness or Guilt
A depressed person may feel that they have no value or they may feel inappropriately guilty about things they have no control over.
8. "Brain Fog"
A depressed person may have a diminished ability to think, concentrate or make decisions.
9. Thoughts of Death
A depressed person may have recurring thoughts of death, especially thoughts of suicide, with or without a specific plan.

Now, it's time for you to assess yourself and act rapidly. More knowledge about this disorder, more oppurtunities to defeat it.

J-POP with a touch of rock.

I'm not really into J-POP as you all know, but once I started watching "Nana", I heard this song that I can't seem to get off my head. The song was entitled "A little pain" by Olivia Lufkin. Olivia played the part of "Reira Serizawa", one of the characters in "Nana". This song is used as the ending theme song for the anime, and was introduced in one episode of " Nana ". She also sang different songs for Nana, like "Winter Sleep", "Starless Night". If you check out the lyrics of these three songs, you'll definitely love the music. Yes, the songs are a bit depressing, because the character she played is a bit depressing too. I love how the song punched right through my heart. The lyrics are so damn great that I even cried when I heard it (crybaby). Olivia Lufkin is also known for being a bilingual Japanese singer and songwriter, she's half-American and half-Japanese, that's why she looks so pretty(why do mixed races get the most pretty faces?). I love her, simply because she has a great soothing voice, great taste of fashion and her music is so great.

Try to check out her song here.

Nana (ナナ)

I'm sure all Otakus out there would love to talk about Nana(ナナ), and I for one would love to talk about it. This anime has touched my heart so much, because I can pretty much relate to Hachiko, the way she acts reflects me. The story is so great that I'am caught in it. Its genre revolves around Drama, Josei, Music, Romance, Slice of Life and Tragedy. At first, I was addicted to " Clannad ", but when I saw this anime I was so freaking caught up by the story. It's so real, you can feel the emotions in the every episode of manga and anime. I admit that I have cried many times while watching this anime. It's kinda depressing but you'll see that the world of reality is caused by pain, it's like waking up from a beautiful dream and when you experience pain you'e back to reality. It depicts life and struggles. The creator, Ai Yazawa, is a great writer. She also wrote " Paradise Kiss " which is also an anime that depicts a slice of life. I recommend this to a lot of my friends who likes " slice of life " animes, because it's the best. Japanese fanatics even held a Nana Convention(ナナ) for the aime. It was the biggest hit in Japan when it aired. The manga version was so successful that they made an anime adaptation, as well as two live-action films. The first twelve volumes of the manga series have cumulatively sold over 22 million copies. In 2005, it has sold over 34,500,000 making it the fourth best selling shōjo manga worldwide.

Summary:

On board the train to Tokyo to meet her boyfriend Shoji, Nana Komatsu ("Hachi") happened to sit beside Nana Osaki who was traveling to Tokyo to fulfill her dreams of becoming a musician. The vocalist for her punk band "Blast", Nana aims for a major debut for "Blast" in Tokyo where her boyfriend, Ren, is the guitarist for a popular band "Trapnest". Sharing the same name "Nana", both girls quickly form a bond of friendship. Their paths cross again when they encounter each other while searching for accomodation in Tokyo. Eventually they decide to live together in the same unit and this further strengthens their bond as the two "Nana(s)" go through their love lives and career.

So, this is all for now. Next time, I'll introduce the characters.

By the way, check out a site for Nana. http://www.s-nana.com/

Wake up Philippines!

Don't you think this is a wake-up call from "up" there? Wake up guys! this is the time to show how Filipinos work together amidst a great tragedy. Set aside differences and let's support each other. Let's show the world why Filipinos are great. As the new generation, let's be a little hero to our fellow countrymen and help everyone else. Different levels of society were no match for this typhoon, so there is no reason for us to deny the fact that we Filipinos are equal. I' am reaching out to those who can read this blog to go out and help others. My mother and I will try to donate some old clothes. Please don't ignore those who are in need, yes you may be lucky enough to not experience the suffering they are in right now, but please don't let them lose hope. Even though we can't donate money or relief goods at least let us pray for them, or even volunteer to help out. I'am asking all of you to spread the word. Be a little hero to our country.

Gamer Unleashed!

I'am a music and fashion lover, ain't I? But there's this side of me that hungers for high-definition games. So for this blog entry, I picked " Left for Dead 2 " as one of my most-awaited game. I've been an avid fan of zombie movies, so Left For Dead pretty much caught my attention. I once played Special Force and Counter Strike, so L4D kinda depicted the things I' am fond of. This sequel is different from the previous L4D, Why? First of all:

1.) Plot - Left 4 Dead 2 will be set in the Southern United States, starting in Savannah, Georgia and ending up in New Orleans, Louisiana. Four new survivors will be introduced in this sequel. Unlike the first game where there was no significant story development, Left 4 Dead 2 will feature a story arc.

2.) Gameplay - The game presents five new campaigns, larger in size than those in the first game.

3.) Survivors - Left 4 Dead 2 features a new cast of human survivors, which includes Coach, a high-school football coach, until he twisted his leg; Rochelle, a news reporter for a local television station; Ellis, an engineer worker, the anti- francis; and Nick, a gambler with a very expensive suit.

4.) Infected - The Infected in Left 4 Dead 2 are largely unchanged from Left 4 Dead.

So I hoped you gained information from this most-awaited game.

Visual Kei Introduction (ヴィジュアル系,)

I've been talking blah blah about Visual Kei when I haven't introduced it to you guys yet, so let me introduce you the world I embrace so much. Visual Kei refers to a music genre, or to a sub-genre of J-rock , with its own particular sound, related to glam-rock, punk and metal. However, Visual Kei's unique clothing, make-up, fashions, and participation in the related sub-culture is equally as important as the sound of the music itself in the use of the term. So, basically, Visual Kei started from the band "X-Japan", which is pretty much an icon in Japan. Like many musical genres, Visual Kei had its ups and downs in the music industry, and it fell flat down when one member of the iconic band (X-Japan) died. After a crucial downfall, Visual Kei arised one more time with new bands, like "Dir En Gray (ディル・アン・グレイ)", "GazettE (ガゼット)","Phantasmagoria", "Versailles" and many more. Below are some pictures of the Visual Kei Artists that I've been a fan of:

Versailles

Phantasmagoria

Alice Nine

The GazettE

There, I hope you had fun reading this one as much as I had fun sharing it with you.

" The GazettE " Madness

Okay, so you'd probably be annoyed whenever I post things about GazettE, but you can't blame me. I' am a huge fan of GazettE, and when I say HUGE, it means HUGE!! I talk about them all the time and recommend them to my friends. It's not that they look so good(well they look really good, ain't they?) it's their fashion and music that I love and I' m a fan of Visual Kei, so fashion is a big factor when you choose this genre. Modern bands sometimes stick to one music genre only, but GazettE derives from one rock genre to another one. They have this awesome ballad rock songs like "Cassis" and "Guren", and then they have this hard rock sound like "LEECH" and so on. Their music is great, their fashion and clothing is great, so as the band members. Ruki has the best voice I've ever heard and damn he looks so hot. Uruha(my fantasy), he's so good at playing guitar and definitely a beauty. Aoi, two words "Disgustingly Beautiful", then we have Kai, the ever so energetic drummer who has a great smile. Reita, fan girls quotes him as a" Sex god" because he's got the sex appeal baby! So, this is all about GazettE for now. Check them out and you'll never regret listening to their music.

Anime Lovers Enter Here!

So after a day of tremendous rain, and me being stuck in bed because I was sick(Oh god! >:3), I decided to check out my favorite Anime's and see if they uploaded new episodes. First stop, we have "Umineko no Naku Koro ni (When seagulls cry)";

It's not really a nice anime for small children to watch because it involves a lot of gore, and yes it is a bit gorish and disturbing, but I came to like the anime because of its story. I'am a fan of psychological and gorish anime. This anime revolves around the red-haired guy named "Battler" and the Endless Witch "Beartrice", the story started with a lot of murder and a lot of suspicion and as the first chapter ended, Battler denied the existence of Beatrice as a witch who killed them all with her magic, so Beatrice played a game with him to prove that she is behind all the murder and that she used magic. If you try to watch this anime, you'll get a little pyscho with all of the different twists in the story. If anyone of you guys know "Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni, Kai, Rei" you'd probably get the hang of Umineko, since the one who created Umineko was also the one who created Higurashi.

Enjoy watching Umineko!

Day 2

Do you think I'll be okay without you?
Are you okay without me?
I can't bear this pain anymore
I felt everything was a lie

Are we too late?
Do we not have a chance?
Are we going to end like this?
What should I do?

Someone tell me what to do
I still think about you
I don't think I can do it
I don't think I can move one more step

The world without you is so hard;
That I blame myself for everything.
Are you living each day pianfully like me?
Is this the end of everything?

What should I do?
Even though the whole world tries to,
No one can erase your memories
Please hold me.

Is it too late?

A trip to an " Enchanted " World

We celebrated the 26th STi Anniversary at Enchanted Kingdom, and yes it was FUN! There was so many rides to go to, but few time left. Even though this was a sad day for me, I collected all my strength and still had fun. I was with my very bestfriend, Dragantra, who never fails to amuse me. " Adventure is out there!" was our motto that day, and yes we found adventure. We found this horror house near "Rio Grande" and we decided to check it out. I can still remember how Dragantra and a few of our friends screamed their lungs out inside the horror house, I can tell you, it's really scary :|. Our day ended up with fireworks at the night sky.

New to blogspot!

I'm new to this kind of thing, and I think CSS won't work out here.

So thanks, Ate Denisse for helping me out.

Let's try to build both our blogs, since I'm new to this kind of stuff. I'am used to friendster blogs, which is not that great. XD

Hope I'll get a head start on blogging. ;]

Adventure is out there!

I created a new blog/diary for this year. I just hope I won't get too lazy updating my blog daily.

Fresh start, new life. ;]

What to write? Hmm. I started to blog again because, I want to share my thoughts, so my thoughts won't eat me up at night since there's no one around anymore to let it all out, I'll just let it out on letters and words. I may blog non-sense things, but Hey! I don't give a sh*t if you don't like my blogs. I'll try to entertain you with exciting facts or my exciting or shall I say twisted life.

Please feel free to subscribe into my blog.

Thanks! Cheerios! ;]
